About this wine:
Elegant and robust, austere and of great nobility, this wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the commune of Monferrato d’Alba, exhibits a brilliant garnet red color with warmer reflections with the passage of time. In the glass it releases etheric and spicy aromas, very persistent, with light notes of vanilla, cocoa, coffee, licorice and hints of truffle. Dry and full flavor well balanced. It goes very well with meat and cheeses.
Falstaff - "Bright ruby core. Very fragrant and expressive nose, of fresh oranges, wild berries with floral notes and hints of wood spices. Multilayered palate with grippy tannins showing it's youth, radiant juicy red berries, concentrated length then a touch rustic on the finish. Needs time to reach full potential."
Wine Enthusiast - "Aromas of black-skinned berry, underbrush and leather lead the way. The elegantly structured palate offers dried black cherry, licorice and cinnamon alongside polished tannins."

About BERA:
The Bera family farm is located in the Langhe area of the Piedmont region between Alba and Barbaresco. The winemaking tradition goes back centuries in the Bera family. But only at the end of the ‘70s did they start producing wines to bottle and sell with their own label. Today, the farm is spread over an area of 30 hectares. The basic philosophy of Bera is to always maintain utmost respect to the tradition of the territory and to every manufacturing practice. It is the hard work, passion and the great desire to make high quality wines that earn so many important national and international awards.
