About this wine:
It is a blend of 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Viura, and 15% Malvasia. with the Sauvignon Blanc aged in French oak barrels to enhance complexity. This wine has a medium-bodied profile with a pale lemon yellow color. It presents aromas of melon, white flowers, green apple, lemon zest, and grapefruit on the nose. The palate offers a refreshing sensation with a mineral undertone and a pronounced acidity with a long and lingering finish. This wine pairs exceptionally well with seafood, dishes with rich oils, and those with a high acidity level. It has an alcohol content of 13%.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "The white blend 2021 Blanco was produced with 33% Tempranillo Blanco, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Viura, 7% Malvasía Riojana and 5% Maturana Blanca fermented and aged in stainless steel, but the Sauvignon Blanc fermented and matured in oak to give it texture and avoid the excessive aromas. It has 12.8% alcohol and a pH of 3.28. 15,000 bottles produced. This was still very reductive/sulfury from the very recent bottling, but the palate shows very good freshness and a tasty, long finish."
