法國 Alsace 區 Grand Cru 級數 (特級田) 半乾 off-dry 白酒,100% 手摘 Gewurztraminer 葡萄來自 “Hatschbourg” 特級田,緩慢壓榨,以保留風格特色,陳釀12個月,金黃酒色,荔枝、熱情果、芒果、異國水果、香料豐富酒香,入口風味濃郁,充滿活力、爆炸性,淡淡蜂蜜味,優質、複雜,13.5% 酒精濃度,產量有限,適合現時享受,亦可陳放5至10年。可以配搭任何前菜、海鮮、白肉,特別是亞洲菜式、辛辣、麻辣、火鍋、芝士。

About this wine :

The term 'AOC Alsace Grand Cru' indicates a wine of superior quality. Grand Cru wines must be produced from grapes harvested by hand and grown in strictly defined vineyard areas, in this case the area known as HATSCHBOURG. They are gastronomic wines par excellence and an Alsace Grand Cru wine can accompagny every course on the menu. 100 % Gewurztraminer. Limited yields produced for higher quality. Single-cane vines. 7,000 vines per hectare. Traditonal working of the soil. Grapes are exclusively hand picked. Slow crushing of grapes to preserve the character of the wine. Gold in colour. Intense, spicey, exotic fruit. Spices, rich, exotic fruit, mango. Drink now or can be kept for another 5 to 10 years.

About THEO CATTIN :

The Cattin family have a long history of making wine, not unusual in Alsace, but from their arrival back in 1720, they have invested in vineyards and winemaking through generations. Currently at the helm is young husband and wife team Jacques and Anaïs and they have already made their mark with an impressive new winery, plus a wine bar and tasting and meeting space, with panoramic views over the vineyards in the village of Voegtlinshoffen 10km south of Colmar. Typical of the new generation taking over, Jacques and Anaïs are outward-looking and English-speaking and much travelled, but they are also deeply invested in their region and keen supporters of their local football team! Like many of their peers they are also exploring terroir with new site-specific wines and making Alsace more accessible by creating new blends of noble grapes and giving them a more modern presentation, alongside their existing comprehensive range. The name for Alsace blends – Edelzwicker – may seem a little old-fashioned but people are cottoning on to just how good these wines are. They offer wine lovers, and especially those new to Alsace wines, the opportunity to taste a mix of the noble grapes of the region – a classic blend of riesling, muscat, gewurztraminer and pinot gris. Perhaps crucially, they fit so well with modern-style cooking too and Jacques and Anaïs are doing a brilliant job of bringing these wines to a new audience.
